“I am so beyond touched by the very thoughtful donation made by A Gentle Farewell in honor of the life and love we shared with our sweet Bella. She was the most amazing dog ever!! We miss her so so much every day that life is still not the same. We were blessed to have had her for 12 years and it was so very hard to find just one picture. I am sending 1 picture and 1 video of our sweet girl. She was a rarity with her breed and could never be replaced. Our hearts will forever wear the pawprints left by her. Thank you so so much for all that you do for animals in need and for honoring our sweet girl.”

“Blue was a feral rescue during the polar vortex in February 2015. Blue quickly adapted to indoor living and developed a big, loving, and entertaining personality. He greeted us every time we entered a room, loved to cuddle, and seemed to take great joy letting us know when he caught his toy fuzzy mice–at all hours of the day and evening. Sadly, we lost our Blue Boy last week and our home now feels empty and lonely without him. We appreciate A Gentle Farewell’s donation in memory of our beloved Blue.”

“Moogie was with us from the time she was nine weeks old until just shy of her 21st birthday. She was a big, beautiful, well-behaved girl who only wanted yummy food and back scratches. Moogie was a gentle, lovable girl with a calm presence. Losing our Moogie Bear was a crushing loss because she was, in our opinion, the perfect cat–she was our baby. The loss of Moogie left a significant void in our home and our lives. We sincerely appreciate A Gentle Farewell honoring our irreplaceable and beloved big girl, Moogie.”

“A sad day here. We lost our sweet Aurora Rose about 12:30 p.m. She had been failing & took a bad turn. Less than a month shy of her 20th birthday, we had to say “Goodbye”. She had been with us nearly half our marriage. We will celebrate our 42nd this year & she has been with us for the past 20 years. She is greatly missed.”

He came with a long snout, a voracious appetite, a loud bark, and a big personality. He was a “velcro” dog who wanted to be with his people all the time, so we took him almost everywhere we went for four full years. He loved the back seat of his blue Subaru Outback (the Blubaru), which he took over and made his own, whether the car was sitting out in front of the house or driving to a park for a walk…”

“We had the privilege of having her with us for 18 1/2 years. Such a huge personality and is missed beyond measure. At least she is with her sisters and we look forward to seeing them all again.”

“Mandy was my most beloved Shih Tzu who suffered for months while I spent over $11,000 to find an answer to help her. She was only 10. She went blind suddenly, was diagnosed with Cushings too late and diabetes too late. She suffered terribly til I could no more. I miss her sweetness and love.”
