Job Description

Tired of corporate buyouts, shrinking appointment times, and increased caseloads? Want to connect with your patients in a meaningful way? We have an immediate opening for a caring and compassionate vet, full-time or part-time for our in-home euthanasia, hospice, and senior care practice. We run a thriving, very well-establishedfull-time and respected mobile clinic, locally owned and based out of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Our full time receptionist will schedule your appointments, you just focus on the pet and family to provide the best experience possible.

We have an outstanding support staff, and you would receive training from our owner with over 15 years of experience, specializing in at-home end-of-life care. For an area with a low cost of living but high quality of life, compensation is outstanding ($75-110k). Plus other benefits, such as a company-matched retirement program, paid CE, and paid vacation, but the real benefit is a relaxed and flexible schedule where meaningful client connections are a top priority along with work-life balance. No on-call emergency appointments, after-hours appointments are optional (with increased pay). Associate Hospice and Palliative Care Veterinarian — Hampton Roads Veterinary Hospice, Virginia Beach, VA

Hampton Roads Veterinary Hospice (HRVH) is a member of the Caring Pathways family of End-of-Life Care, AAHA-Accredited Veterinary Practices. Our supportive team enables veterinarians to deliver excellent end-of-life medical care while serving all involved with compassion. Our veterinarians appreciate focusing on the quality of heartfelt connections with families and their pets without being rushed. And our industry-leading training and one-on-one mentoring processes ensure new team members are supported to succeed and excel in their roles, including those with limited experience in providing veterinary hospice and palliative care and/or in-home euthanasia.

HRVH ensures veterinarians thrive in their roles and provides opportunities for growth into additional areas of the business, including management, training, research, community relations, and expansion team participation. There are opportunities for a variety of schedules including full-time (4 days/week), part-time (1-2 days a week), and a range of day/night/weekend shifts. Client Care Coordinator — DVMcenter

Job Description

DVMcenter is a growing innovative, interdisciplinary team providing compassionate services for clients facing end-of-life decisions for their pets. DVMcenter works with mobile end-of-life practices around the country, communicating with their clients and scheduling their visits. Our mission is to provide pet owners and veterinarians with expert, compassionate service every step of the way.

What our care coordinators do:
• Communicate with clients and veterinarians via phone and email
• Support clients in navigating end-of-life decisions for their pets
• Schedule and coordinate in-home end-of-life visit logistics
• Assist with special projects, such as resource development, social media and marketing, and administrative support as needed
• Availability for full-time (32-40hrs) schedule and 1- 2 weekend shifts per month. Weekday schedule consists of 10a-6p CST or 11a-7p CST shifts. Weekends are paid at a higher hourly rate and typically consist of 9-5CST shifts.
• Reliable self-starter with the ability to work effectively on a remote team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and compassion while speaking with emotional clients
• Basic understanding of end-of-life veterinary care or a motivation to learn
• Strong comfort level with technology, client record management, and basic remote-work equipment knowledge

Role Requirements:
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) with 3+ years of experience.
• Active veterinary and state-specific DEA licenses.
• Proficiency in multi-modal pain management, hospice, palliative care, and euthanasia services.
• Ability to provide services in both home settings and BluePearl hospitals.
• Skilled in quality-of-life conversations and end-of-life care.
