Our baby boy, the most loyal friend and protector – everywhere we went together you made me feel safe. You trained me as your trainer with unparalleled wit, skill and tenacity. You loved us as your pawrents with immeasurable intensity. You are the smartest, most silly, strongest and bravest creature I’ve ever known.
Our black and tan prince, we can never repay you for all the joy, love and lessons you’ve given us. For the countless adventures, the big buddy hugs and kisses, your hilarious ways and for keeping your siblings on their toes – we are so unbelievably grateful.
Our lives on this earth are forever incomplete. There are no words to express how much we will miss you. I know you’ll be in heaven with our Lord and Savior frolicking in peace without suffering and one day we will be together again. May you roam free off leash in paradise and have endless toys and treats, beautiful adventures, and love for all eternity.
And we promise, we will never, ever, ever let any other dog play with your favorite blue toy …

I never had the honor of meeting Niko but I got to watch his adventures. He was a sweet dog, with a beautiful soul. He was loved beyond words and this world is a little less happy, a little less beautiful without him in it. He made his mark on the world and I look forward to him and my kids meeting in heaven one day. I know they will be fast friends.

Our sweet baby boy, we miss you more and more every day. Life feels so empty without your gigantic presence in our lives. I’m so sorry I couldn’t stop the cancer from taking you. You fought so bravely, courageously and stoically. We love you so much with every piece of our broken hearts. And I know when we meet in heaven some day, our hearts will be full again. Until then, we’ll keep cherishing every second spent with you, every priceless memory, and all the love, joy and laughter you’ve blessed us with for the rest of our lives. And I promise to carry on your legacy with every dog I train and am beyond grateful for you teaching me everything I know.
