Audrey

For 13½ years, Audrey was my shadow, my joy, and my constant companion. From the moment we brought her home from Phoenix — that tiny puff ball with her little “Fu Manchu” chin — she filled our lives with laughter and love.

Audrey was pure happiness: her puppy spins, tail wags, and kisses brightened every day. She loved barking into the backyard wall (for maximum volume), launching herself off the chiminea, and playing fetch for hours. She was our fearless, funny little foodie who lived for treats, Pizza Port crusts, and beach trips to Ocean Beach — where she’d sit on my lap, soaking up the breeze.

She came on so many adventures with us — to the beach, the mountains, and beyond — always proudly standing in her stroller, announcing our arrival to the world. She was brave through everything, even knee surgery, always smiling and ready to play again.

Audrey wasn’t just our dog. She was our heart. She taught me joy, playfulness, and unconditional love. I’ll miss her every day, but I know she’s running free now — happy, healthy, and waiting for us across the rainbow bridge.
