Monty

Monty was born on 13 November 2007 in Casa Grande, Arizona. He spent his entire life with George and me. Monty outlived Shannon, Doc, Jack-Jack, and Maggie. He adored Doc, his mentor. He admired the beautiful Shannon. Jack-Jack was his protege and Maggie, she was complicated. Monty learned to climb the garden wall and taught Maggie. He was smart and sweet. Had daily walks until he was 15 when it became too hard. During his life, he was my muse. I painted him dozens of times, documenting his life, and even combining the paintings into a book. That book, the record of his life, is miw a precious treasure. Goodbye Monty. I love you.
