Lily

Lily was our love for almost sixteen years. She had this seal like bark whenever I go into the fridge until she got a bite of something! She loved to sniff and take walks. She walked so good on a leash and was a great car rider. She was the boss with our one year old girl puppy. Even on her last days, she tried to play a little with Stevie. They were true sisters. I loved to watch them together. The week before we knew the end was near we took them to the dog park and for ice cream. I’m forever grateful for that day. In her last days, I told her how much I loved her and said thank you for all the years she loved us. I told her she was going to be free and young and would be able to do everything she wanted to again. I told her our dads were in heaven waiting for her. We are heartbroken but also have a sense of peace. She can run free and have all the treats and be with God. Love you always sweet girl.
