IAAHPC Research Grant Program

Advancing Research in Animal Hospice and Palliative Care

Welcome to the IAAHPC Research Grant Program

The International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (IAAHPC) is dedicated to advancing the field of animal hospice and palliative care through research, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Our Research Grant Program provides funding to innovative projects that aim to enhance the comfort, dignity, and quality of life for animals with chronic and life-limiting conditions, while also supporting the well-being of their caregivers and veterinary teams. By fostering groundbreaking studies in areas such as pain management, caregiver support, and ethical decision-making, the program seeks to drive meaningful change in end-of-life care for animals. The grants empower researchers, practitioners, and educators to explore new solutions and improve practices that benefit not only the animals in our care but also the caregivers who share in their journey. Through these efforts, we aim to promote compassionate, evidence-based care that has a lasting, positive impact on both animals and the communities that care for them.
