Rowdy

Rowdy came to us from our local shelter, he and his brother had been dumped on the side of the road in a box. He was taken to the shelter with his brother – sadly his brother died of parvo. Rowdy was adopted by a family, unfortunately or fortunately for us, he was brought back. We adopted him in May and he ran around our our yard for 20 minutes straight. We had Rowdy for 9 wonderful years and his presence is missed deeply! Rowdy had one of the best senses of humor – he also loved playing with kids. We called him the Twirling Dervish – as he would spin in circles for the school kids as they walked by our house. Rowdy was loved beyond measure!

I love your meant-to-be story of how Rowdy joined your family, and he was a handsome boy! I share in your grief of losing your beloved friend, having lost mine recently, too. Praying for comfort.
